Sunday Morning Choir

Our excellent choir, plus vibrant singing by the congregation, make 11:00 Mass a joyous celebration! This choir also sings for certain Holy Days, special services, and confirmations. This group is very sociable – they have get -togethers for fellowship and prayer many times throughout the year. They are always looking for new members — and you don’t even have to know how to read music! Rehearsals are on Mondays at 7:00 pm.

Cantors

These men and women have a very important role – they lead the parish community in song during the Sunday liturgies and Holy Day Masses. They also lead the singing for Sung Evening Prayer services (during Advent and Lent), for weddings and funerals (if requested), and for other major celebrations in the parish. New cantors are always needed. Interested? Just come to the church at 7:00 on a Monday evening, which is when the Sunday Morning Choir rehearses.

Funeral Choir

Music at a funeral can bring comfort, consolation and inspiration to family and friends of the bereaved in their time of need. Members are drawn from several parishes, and sing at Catholic funerals in area churches, normally on weekday mornings. If you are usually available at those times, they’d love to hear from you!
